Vermont continues to battle back from one of the most destructive events in its history.

Earlier this month, a storm dumped nearly 10 inches of rain on parts of the state. The disastrous flooding led to people losing their businesses or homes, and infrastructure concerns. 

Vermont has seen an influx of first response contractors from across the United States come to the Green Mountain State. Crews are inspecting buildings and clearing debris.

Electricians and plumbers are among the natural disaster response professionals on the scene.
